FOLLOW THE SILK ROAD IN UZBEKISTAN

The mesmerising central Asian country of Uzbekistan is home to three of the most important cities on the ancient Silk Road – Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand. Why not follow in the footsteps of ancient traders and visit all three on one incredible vacation.

The country’s capital, Tashkent, is a good place to start your adventure. Completely destroyed by an earthquake in 1966, it has today been rebuilt and restored, and is a modern day showcase of Russian architecture mixed with blue-tiled mosques and some fascinating museums.
